We pooled over 500 cross training athletes and have used over 30 tester boxes to see what they are looking for in hand grips. They all said the same thing: 

1) They want to be able to “feel” the bar with their grips on: Other companies use thick material like cowhide leather, not only is it thick, it feels like the grip is rough which is actually the exact opposite of what you should want during WODs. Our new Titanium grips are thin enough to “feel” the bar, yet thick enough to protect your hands from rips and tears. 

2) Prevent blisters and calluses: Our grips protect your hands from blisters and calluses by covering the part of your palms that comes in contact with the bar during training. You want to make sure there is some excess material on your grips so it creates a hinge like fold at the top to help you with hand rotation. Too much excess material may be the reason why you get blisters and calluses because of the material rubbing on your palms and pinching your skin. Refer to our size chart to find the correct size.

3) They don’t want to tear their hands, or have their grips tear on them! It’s all fun and games til your hands tear open during a workout. 4) Have the right amount of grip for compound movements like Olympic lifts, pull ups , toes to bar and bar work: Most Grips or gloves on the market are actually too “grippy”. During WODs or Olympic lifting, you are doing compound movements, which means you actually want some slide to your grips. Our grips allow the movement needed on the bar.

Can I use these for Kettlebell & Dumbbells? 

Yes, they are great for kettlebell or dumbbell workout.

Can you take the palm guard off and just use the wrist support?

Technically, no. However, if you prefer not to use the palm guard, you can take your fingers out of the holes and tuck it under the wrist wrap. Just pull them back if you want to use it again.

Are these good for gymnastics?

Yes, they are perfect for gymnastics.

Are they sold as a pair?


Are the finger holes pre-cut or you have to cut your own holes?

Can these be used without chalk?

They’re metal.

My palm measures 4.25”, should I size up to M or down to S?

If you wear them on the base of your fingers, go for size S. If you wear it higher on your fingers, go with M.

Can I use these as a replacement for my wrist wraps?

Will these help with calluses from gripping the bar on the rowing machine?

Yes, these can protect you from getting blisters and calluses from any bar.

Do these provide enough support for doing bench presses?

 Would these work for a 10 year old boy? If so, what size should I get him?
